Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 6, 2026
1. Who we are
These terms govern your use of Excel Mastery (the "Service"), operated by Excel Mastery ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
2. The service
Excel Mastery provides on-demand online courses, accompanying materials, and (where applicable) certificates of completion. Access is granted under your selected plan or one-time purchase.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully or for fraud, spam, or abuse;
- Infringe intellectual property rights of us or third parties;
- Probe, scan, or otherwise interfere with the security or integrity of the Service.
4.1 Account sharing
Your account is personal to you. You may not share your login credentials, transfer your account, or allow any other person to access courses, lessons, assignments, certificates, or subscription benefits using your account. Each learner must purchase or be granted their own access. We may detect concurrent or suspicious sessions and suspend accounts used by more than one person.
4.2 Content redistribution
All course videos, lesson text, quizzes, assignments, downloadable files, templates, and certificates are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial learning only. You may not copy, download (except where a download is offered), record, screen-capture for distribution, repost, mirror, translate, resell, sublicense, share on file-sharing platforms, upload to AI training datasets, or otherwise make our content available to anyone else, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission.
4.3 Automated access & scraping
You may not use bots, crawlers, scrapers, headless browsers, AI agents, or any automated means to access, collect, index, or extract content, video URLs, quiz answers, user data, or any other part of the Service. You may not bypass, disable, or interfere with rate limits, authentication, paywalls, or content-protection measures, and you may not use the Service to build a competing product or training corpus.
4.4 Reverse engineering
You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service or any underlying software; remove or alter copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices; or attempt to gain unauthorized access to non-public APIs, infrastructure, or other users' accounts or data, except to the limited extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Violations of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund, and may be reported to law enforcement where appropriate.
5. Intellectual property
All course content, software, branding, and documentation remain our property or that of our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access content for personal, non-commercial learning while your access is active.
6. Payments & subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
7. Refunds
See our Refund Policy.
8. Service availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
9. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from your account settings.
10. Warranties & liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
11. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of South Africa, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to bring proceedings locally. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
